Hi everyone, my name is Andy and a Senior at UCD. Some of you probably know me already since I've been a club member for almost 2 years. I decided to make this forum for all the badminton fans/players out there, especially the ones living in Sacramento. I think we'd all agree how hard it is to find a place to play badminton in Sac. And I am hoping this forum can help bring different players all around the city together and form a greater badminton community in Sacramento. Hope you guys enjoy the forum. =)

My name is Mike and I just started to play at CSUS 3 weeks ago. I am loving it and I always look forward to the weekends so I can play hehe.. Andy, thanks for creating this nice forum for us. Where do I go to see when we have open gym? I clicked on the calender but there are no comments for this weekend. Does it mean that we don't have open gym this week? Alright take care everyone

Hi mike,

the calender will be updated in an hour or so, but as far as this weekend it should be open unless there is a event happening at sac state that we dont know about. Check the calender on Friday right before you go. I will post it on calender if gym is close.

Hi, My name is Jim and I am a Sac State Alumni. I have not played badminton in 6 years but am looking to start again ( I used to play at sac state & UCD when I was in college). Just wondering if I can come to the open court and if there are any older players there?

How are you? Welcome to the forum! Anyone is welcomed to play at Yosemite Hall; however, there is a $10.00 membership fee. When you pay you receive a membership card and this is good for a semester. To obtain one and play you will pay Vicki ( she deals with all the membership fees).

Oh,I'm not sure what you mean by older players (like Alumni?). I do know that there are experienced and competitive players that come and challenge each other a lot on courts 2 & 3 occasionally F-Sun.
